| HPC, High Performance Computing, has always been the foundation of computing. There is a always a fastest new computer which allows us to solve problems of which we could barely conceive just a few years ago. The current form of fastest computer is actually a cluster of identical computer harnessed together to solve a problem. These computers require technicians to perform the standard system administration, network administration, and security administration to keep these machines functioning. These computers also require technicians who understand the special needs and requirements involved with maintaining a computer cluster. The HPC program is designed to produce these technicians. |
